Welcome to Angela's world!
Angela Yonts is an actress and comedian living and working in Los Angeles. She was born and raised in the small town of Madisonville, Kentucky. Always having an active imagination, she entertained the people around her starting at a very young age. She began exercising her acting chops when she got involved with church and school plays around the age of five. As Angela grew up, she joined her schools' drama clubs and became involved in community theatre and acting programs as well. She started college at Western Kentucky University and finished at Murray State University where she received her Bachelor's of Integrated Studies Degree in Theatre in the spring of 2013.
After graduating, she moved to California in the summer of 2013. Angela was cast in some shorts and student films while getting used to the California lifestyle. A real breakthrough for her career came in the summer of 2014 when she and a couple of friends from college teamed up and made their first independent feature called The Middle Ground. Not only did she have a starring role in this film, she was also a producer which gave her the opportunity to really dive into the art of filmmaking as a whole.
Angela has acted in many other films, web series, comedy sketches, theatrical productions, voiceovers, and live events since then. Some examples include Katie’s Mom, No Home Neighbors, Uncommon Ground, and Scream Break. From 2016-2018, Angela grew her craft and learned about comedy by attending and graduating from the Conservatory Program at The Second City in Hollywood. There she focused on stand up comedy, improvisation, and sketch comedy.
